Project Summary
The new Museum of The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces is located at Duxford in partnership with the Imperial War Museum.
The first phase sees the Airborne Forces Museum collections relocated from Aldershot to a dedicated facility in the state-of-the-art AirSpace building at IWM. Here the historic collections are newly presented through multi-media displays.
ParaData, the living archive of the Airborne Forces, is the definitive digital database, accessible through touch screens at the museum, and online. The physical Archive of the Airborne Forces Museum has also been re-housed separately at the site.
